Xu Yinghui from Xiguo Import & Export Visits Thai Chinese Chamber of Commerce for Business Talks
During Xiguo’s Thailand fruit exhibition tour from August 1st to 5th, Xu Yinghui, person in charge of Zhaotong Xiguo Import and Export Co., Ltd., paid an official visit to the Thai Chinese Chamber of Commerce (TCCC) and held in-depth business negotiations with chamber executives, aiming to build stable trade links between Yunnan highland fruits and Thailand’s consumer market.
The Thai Chinese Chamber of Commerce extended a warm welcome to the Xiguo delegation. As the most influential overseas Chinese business organization in Thailand, TCCC connects thousands of local supermarkets, fruit wholesalers and importers across Thailand, capable of providing market access consultation, distribution resource matching and policy guidance for Chinese agricultural products entering ASEAN markets.
At the forum, Xu Yinghui presented Xiguo’s core agricultural products: Suijiang honey plums, Mengzi pomegranates, Huize strawberries, Shidian winter peaches, Zhaotong apples, wild matsutake and jasmine tea, highlighting Yunnan’s high-altitude planting environment, standardized picking procedures and complete cold-chain export system. Xiguo expects to cooperate with TCCC to access Thailand’s offline supermarkets, fruit wholesale markets and fresh food chains, and launch long-term direct supply cooperation from origin to terminal.
Both sides reached consensus on three major cooperation plans. First, TCCC will connect local Thai fresh produce buyers and organize exclusive fruit tasting matchmaking events for Xiguo. Second, the chamber will offer professional guidance on Thailand food registration, tariff inquiry and local warehousing layout for Yunnan fruits. Third, regular exchange visits will be arranged to expand Yunnan fruit exports from Thailand to the whole Southeast Asia.
The two parties exchanged souvenirs and took group photos after the meeting. This visit enables Xiguo to access mature local Chinese business channels in Thailand, laying a solid foundation for Yunnan premium fruits to explore the ASEAN market and promote win-win agricu
